Petrified Forest National Park

The Petrified Forest National Park isn’t much to look at if you are a wide-spectrum person. They lay in the painted hills, which are beautiful and fairly vast, but the petrified forest itself is rather blah…

Until you look closely. The forest itself is made up of incredible colors! Just sit and look at one and you’ll become lost in it. The day will have past before you pull yourself away. Don’t get too focussed, though, because each ancient tree trunk is uniquely colored and glorious.

For even more minute detail look at the pebbles on the ground. They aren’t pebbles at all! They are tiny fragments of trees in every color imaginable. Well worth meditating over.
